Recording Songbirds at Karanambu

In July 2012, Trustee and lead scientist Dr. Godfrey Bourne began a kiskadee (songbird) speciation study at Karanambu utilizing geographical variation in the kis-ka-DEE song, and enlisting the help of several local field assistants, all of whom completed Dr. Bourne's first field ecology course held in January 2012. The first step was to find the kiskadees that were singing! The second was to begin to record their songs.
